Soy-It® PolyStripper is the leading bio based professional grade polyurethane and multi purpose coatings remover that may be used for vertical and horizontal surface applications. It's enhanced soy formula makes it ideal for stripping tiles, wood floors, concrete, furniture, boat and marine surfaces. Unlike methylene chloride and other strippers, PolyStripper leaves the surface in a ready to refinish condition. It has a very high "gel-like" viscosity and will not readily evaporate, providing the most efficient penetration and easy removal of difficult coatings.
It effectively replaces highly volatile products such as; Acetone, MEK, Methylene Chloride, Toluene, Cyclohexanone, Ethyl Acetate, Aliphatic Petroleum Distillates, Mineral Spirits, D'Limonene, Naptha and others. Application Instructions:
SoyGreen PolyStripper contains no water and is designed to be used undiluted for most applications. Test all sprayers and items to be treated for solvent compatibility. Avoid contact with plastics.
Wood and Tile Floors: Spot test for finish compatibility prior to use. Spray, brush or pour on flooring and allow 15 to 45 minutes to activate. Monitor activity. Dwell times may be extended up to 12 hours with no adverse effects. Wash or brush away old finish or remove with suitable extraction equipment. Properly dispose of residue.
Paint Stripping: Test items to be stripped for compatibility. Spray or brush on a thin layer of PolyStripper and monitor activity, watching for paint to bubble. Rinse, scrape or wipe away residue.
Graffiti Removal: Spot test area to be treated first. Apply with a sprayer or brush. Monitor activity to prevent removal of undercoat. Wipe off or remove with water. Brushing may be necessary on textured or porouse sufaces.
